This policy explains what personal data is processed when you visit lb84.ch or get in touch. It follows the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP).

Hosting
This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages (Cloudflare, Inc., USA). To deliver pages and protect the site against abuse, Cloudflare processes technical data for every request, including your IP address, the page requested, the time, and your browser’s user agent. This is necessary to run the site. Cloudflare may process this data outside Switzerland, including in the USA, and is certified under the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (see the Data Privacy Framework participant list).
Analytics
If you click Accept in the banner, lb84.ch uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count your visit. It records which pages are viewed, the referring site, the browser and device type, the country and page load times. It sets no cookies and does not track you across other websites. The data is processed by Cloudflare as described under Hosting and is only used to see how the site is used.
If you click Decline, or make no choice, the analytics script does not run. Your choice is saved in your browser’s local storage (not a cookie) so the banner doesn’t come back on every page. You can change it any time with “Analytics settings” at the bottom of every page.
Cookies and third parties
lb84.ch sets no cookies. Fonts are served from lb84.ch itself, so no request goes to a font provider. There are no advertising or social media trackers.
If you email me, I use your address and message only to reply and to handle the enquiry. Emails are kept as long as needed for that purpose and any legal retention requirements.
Your rights
You can ask what data about you is processed, and ask for it to be corrected or deleted, by emailing the address above. You can also contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
